Raynold Pierre, MD, MSc
Head, Medical Monitoring and Safety & Medical Writing
Raynold is a seasoned medical professional and drug safety leader with over 20 years of distinguished experience spanning healthcare, clinical research, and global pharmacovigilance. He has a proven track record of leading complex clinical trials across diverse therapeutic areas and implementing robust safety frameworks that uphold data integrity and ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical evidence.
Throughout his career, Raynold has built and strengthened strategic partnerships with academic institutions, hospitals, government agencies, and private-sectors, fostering collaborative environments that drive innovation and enhance patient-centered outcomes. Prior to joining Seriant, he led multidisciplinary teams in clinical operations, contributing to the successful development and commercialization of multiple pharmaceutical products and medical devices.
Raynold’s diverse background includes pivotal roles at regulatory agencies such as Health Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada, as well as experience leading pharmaceutical companies. This breadth of experience provides him with comprehensive insight into the regulatory, operational, and scientific aspect of clinical development.
Raynold holds a Doctor of Medicine from the Central University of Venezuela, a Master of Science, and an advanced degree in Evaluation from the University of Montreal. At Seriant, he leverages his extensive expertise to interpret complex clinical data, promote cross-functional collaboration, and ensures the safe and compliant development of investigational medicinal products, health technologies, and medical devices.
