Benjamin Alt, MSc, MBA
Director of Business Development
Benjamin Alt began his career as a Business Development Associate and brings over 20 years of experience working in multinational pharmaceutical companies, biotech and CROs including Valeant Canada/Bausch Health, Cerba Research, MethylGene/Mirati Therapeutics and Biocon Biologics with a strong focus on oncology, immunology, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, women’s health and rare diseases in cross functional roles that include sales, marketing, business development and market access.
Benjamin successfully led and participated actively in closing over 25 deals helping Bausch grow from $60 million to $350 million 2006-2013. He was involved in M&A activities, Market Research, in-licensing, out-licensing, regulatory affairs and life cycle management.
Before joining Seriant, Benjamin drove the market access functions across Canada from Biocon Biologics, where he was involved in Government relations as well as private payer relationships and strategic planning in a leadership role.
Benjamin has an MBA (Marketing specialization) from HEC as well as an MSc in Experimental Health Medicine (Cancer Research) from UQUAM as well as a BSc in Biology from McGill University.
